The Predecessor's Journal

Something pretty interesting happened today.  Not just "pretty" interesting, very interesting actually.  It's rare that I'm ever in the public eye enough to engage in conversations with others, but today I was chatting with other dwellers of the land of this site, when he appeared.  "The Evil Entity", as he calls himself.  Another person who claims to be evil and has a title preceded by the word "the"?  It caught my interest immediately.

Of course, with him appearing, the whole group broke apart, those of the Resistance questioning his existence and those for the Takeover staring in awe.  I don't care for such stupid wars, but I cared enough to be the first to talk to him, get a scope of who he really was.  After casually telling him that he's a copycat of yours truly, an expression of annoyance appeared on his calm face, and the facade of his fell.  After a dreadful comeback line, he snapped his fingers and cast me away into a portal leading to the Shadow Realm.

Unfortunately for him, I'm quite familiar with this place and have some powers of my own to boot, and within a minute of his attempt at erasure, I was back once again, my presence interrupting him and a small group of people laughing, at my own expense I assumed.  What could be seen of his face under that mask of his shifted from glee back to annoyance and a bit of...worry?  In any case, he left shortly after all of this played out.

Haven't heard anything back from that wannabe "evil overlord" yet.  But despite his whole shtick of his, he's still powerful and enjoyable to talk to.  I sent him a message inviting him to go out and eat some pizza or something, pineapple pizza of course.  Hopefully he gets back to me about that.  Until then, I want to see how this whole war thing turns out.
