Chaos Witch Quelaag

Boobs. When the Witch of Izalith turned into the Bed of Chaos, so did all of her daughters except for Quelaag and her younger sister. Although they both have their sanity, their lower bodies were transformed into giant demon spiders. When Quelaag's sister became weakened and blind, Quelaag stayed by her side in Blighttown to protect her from anything or anyone that would harm her. Then you come along. If she kills you, she'll feed you to her sister... yikes. You can fight Quelaag pretty early if you started with the Master Key item. Travel to the New Londo ruins and run into the back entrance of Blighttown. Now you probably shouldn't fight Quelaag early unless you want to spend 20 minutes dealing 20 damage a swing. That seems like a bad idea, but Quelaag is actually really simple. Her human half will only swing her sword which is very easy to dodge if you just stay near the spider head. Her spider half has the most attacks. It'll mainly spit lava out of it's mouth, leaving pools on the ground that lasts for around 30 seconds. It can be easy to forget about them, so be careful if you're walking backwards. The only attack to really be aware of is the AOE. She'll curl up and then about 5 seconds later she'll explode. She can perform smaller explosions by slamming down one side of her body with her legs but they are pretty easy to avoid. One attack I actually saw the first time is a spewing attack where she'll shake her body and fireballs scatter. She's really nothing to worry about. If you just stand to the side of her and back away before the AOE goes off, you should be fine. Also hitting her human half with magic or a bow can stun her.

Quelaag may be tricky to a first time player, but after maybe 2 attempts, you'll know what she's about and you can easily beat her. Really, the AOE and then maybe a follow-up attack is the only dangerous thing during the fight. You're in a large enough arena that the lava pools won't be an issue unless you back yourself into a corner like a paranoid little baby. I'll place Quelaag below the Centipede Demon.
