Centipede Demon

Solaire looks pretty badass walking on lava and only taking 6 damage a second. The Centipede Demon was created after the Ceaseless Discharge dropped his Orange Charred Ring he obtained from his sisters to ease his pain. You think dropping a flame infused ring in real life would create this beast? Someone test that out for me. This boss actually has a really cool design and moveset, but the only problem is the trashy arena you fight him in. You're basically in a giant lava pool with a bunch of small platforms to walk on. Stepping in the lava for just a second drains 30% of your health and can kill you instantly. It doesn't help you start on a tiny spot. Before you know it, a giant centipede crushes you before you can even say "git gud". Luckily, if you turn to the right, you can follow a narrow path that'll lead you to a much larger area where'll you can actually fight the demon without burning to death. The Centipede has a lot of different attacks but I only see around 4 of them. He has a long and stretchy arm like Manus he can attack you with. A leap he'll perform when you're under him, a flurry of stomping attacks, and a wind-up punch. Other attacks I never see are him shooting fireballs, being able to pick up and eat you, and an explosion variant of his jump. A cool thing about the Centipede is that you can cut off other parts of his body and they'll have a mind of their own. They don't hurt a lot but they can be annoying. The only benefit I can see from cutting off a limb is getting the Charred Ring early (which makes you take like 95% less damage from lava). So if you die you can equip the ring and have an easier time. You could always summon your buddy Solaire if the lava is too much for you, dude has bedrock feet. I usually stand under the Centipede and swing away till he dies, it works pretty well.

Centipede Demon isn't too tough. Standing under him is his biggest weakness really, just like a bunch of other giant beast bosses. The design of the Centipede is pretty cool but it was sadly wasted on this terrible arena. If I wasn't too busy playing hopscotch around a lava pool I'd probably have more fun with this boss. I've never really died to this boss before, the lava definitely killed me however. I'll place him below the Iron Golem.
