The Rescue Ranger has been eliminated. It lost with 70 votes against it.

Prior to Jungle Inferno, I almost exclusively used the Rescue Ranger. There wasn't much of a reason to use any other primary, since the Rescue Ranger was ridiculously busted. You could heal your buildings for free without evening having to be near them. If it was still being damaged when your clip ran out, you could just yoink it away. Even after losing its free repairs, it's still arguably Engi's best primary. You can still effectively heal your gun from far away, but you likely won't have enough metal to use your entire clip, then teleport it towards you. It's also not too great in combat. Unlike the Pomson, you can actually land hits on people, but they won't do much damage. If you get jumped by a Soldier or Demo when your sentry isn't up, it's probably best to use the ancient Engi tactic of running away and hoping for the best.
