Whenever someone says "This generation is more [something] than the last generation!", nine times out of ten, we don't have more [something].

Allow me to explain. I see older people saying that this generation is full of "weak" people.

But don't you think that we just have now platforms for weak people to express themselves?

No journal in the 70s talked about some random guy's feelings, while now that guy can freely rant on Twitter, Reddit... Scrap.TF

We don't have more [something], we just have ways of showcasing it that the older generation didn't have. We just have exposure to everyone's experiences while the older generation only knew stuff about famous people or people they were close to.

Another example is young artists. We have 16-year-old singers today. Maybe even 14, heck, it goes to 12 and beyond. It's not that people are "turning" singers too young now, but anyone can post their songs on youtube, while back in the day, you could rarely put your songs on radio, so younger singers just weren't noticed, but they were there.
