Landfall has been eliminated. It lost with 152 votes against it.

Landfall is the only map CTF map that I don't like. Like the other CTF maps, rounds on Landfall can take ages to complete. Unfortunately, Landfall doesn't work as a fun death match map either. I guess that would motivate players to do the objective instead of death matching, but Landfall is also the hardest CTF map to cap on. This is entirely due to how the intel is placed. The spawns are directly behind the intel, so players can get right back to defending it almost instantly after spawning. An even bigger problem is the amount of potential sentry placements. On maps like 2fort and turbine, if you are going to put several sentries in the intel room, they will have to be fairly close to each other. This makes it possible for them to all be destroyed with one uber. However, landfall provides several good sentry spots that are very spread out. Basically, if the enemy team has 3 or more engineers, you are going to have to wait for one of them to either quit or die of old age before you can actually play the game again.
