I've heard of this before. I'm fully aware that it's not true at the slightest, but why is that not true?

This is a very hard question that I want to ask to those that have/had suicidal thoughts and most likely tried to commit suicide, but failed. You don't have to answer, as it *is* a very personal and uncomfortable question. If you wish to answer, I will greatly appreciate it, as it not only teaches me more about the psychology of suicide, but also teaches the people that hang around here and how to act around people who have those thoughts.

I don't have the words to make someone feel better, so I will let a certain one to do the talking. I hope he'll help you somehow.
