I have recently started watching videos without commentary, specifically Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017 & 2005), and was curious what other people watch. Personally I enjoy both, but only with certain games. For example I enjoy no commentary for Battlefront II, since there is a lot of action and basic idea of what to do, versus a Mortal Kombat 11 video, where the player has strategic decisions to make and it's a one on one fight. Then there is also the commentator themselves. Subscriber count doesn't sway my opinion, but does it determine if you watch them? For me, the commentator has to be descriptive and have a couple of jokes, but other than that, they just have to have a decent voice and audio. What do you guys like to watch, commentary wise? I'm curious what the popular opinion is, even though I am expecting most of you guys to like a particular commentator and not venture off to other gaming channels.
