Ah, 1987. A busy year. 
Highlights include the Maryland Train collision, Starbucks opening its cursed doors, the Simpsons debuting, a West German man illegally flying into Soviet airspace before ultimately landing in the Moscow Red Square, Rick Astley releasing "Never Gonna Give You Up", the Goiânia accident, The Great Storm of 1987, King's Cross catching fire, [url=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typhoon_Nina_(1987)]Typhoon Nina/Sisang[/url], the Bite of '87, Final Fantasy being released in Japan, just to give some of the highlights.
