Horse Man? Stage: Everyone knows that Greece has weird blue pillars everywhere, right? There’s pelicans dropping fish on you, and these weird jellyfish bombs. Oh, also this is basically the water stage for this game. You have to try not to jump into the spikes now, and there’s these really pathetic fish just swimming around. This is the part everyone remembers from this stage. The upside-down water. It rises and falls as you have to fight off enemies and time your jumps so you can be in the water. After a brief meeting with Eddie, it’s back to the water with cloud submarines that come out of their clouds once you shoot them or they’re above you. Let’s take a moment to bask in this waterfall background, as you fight off more submarines, and a squid that shoots homing missiles at you. You then have a choice of going down a ladder or using Rush Jet to get to the boss door early. Well, let’s fly across this pit and fight this man. Fight: Centaur Man will clomp around shoot his buster that splits into many shots once it hits the walls, vanish and reappear, and use Centaur Flash, which also has him shoot his buster. Knight Crusher takes care of him quickly, and the shots aren’t too hard to avoid either. Weapon: Centaur Flash is a screen clear that can destroy any enemy, destroyable projectiles, and ignore an enemie’s defenses.
