Last time we defeated the previously Undefeated Chapion of Galar, Champion Leon, thus transforming him from the Undefeated Chapion of Galar, Champion Leon into the Once Undefeated Champion of Galar, Ex-Champion Leon.

Ah, so we're back at home... Then Magnolia just shows up to hand us a masterball. Anywho, I decided to head back into the Slumbering Weald where I find Hop in front of the resting place of the doggos. He also congratulates me on defeating the now Once Undefeated Champion of Galar, Ex-Champion Leon. It also seems like Hop wants to battle. I'll take him on. Leeks is excited to break his sheep's bricks after he put up a wall of cotton. The sheep uses its double edge, but is knocked out with a crit from the duck. The sociable Scooter and the Corviknight face off with the crow using a steel wing to raise its defense and Scooter burning him with her fiery punch. The coal monster dodges the next wing and then punches the bird again. Hop used a full restore as Scooter rams into the knight with a flame charge. She charges again as the crow slaps her with a steel wing. She punches once more with a crit, leaving the crow falling down. Moos Perrd gives the Snorlax quite the first impression, but the Snorlax crunches her defense. No matter, she just liquidates him. Next up is the Pincurchin versus 2 OP Plz Nerf! Earthquake. Goku back at it again with the drum beating. Against a Cramorant after the Inteleon u-turned. The bird stood no chance. The Inteleon u-turns again, but he avoids it and gives the lizard a drum beating once more.

After that battle Sonia finds us to give us her book. Signed of course. She then askes us if we were returning the rusty sword and shield back to their proper place. Hop forgor about doing that so we then return them. Suddenly, two men in suits with strange hair approach us to have a chat with Sonia about her book. They even wrote a one star internet review! They introduce themselves as Sordward and Shielbert and then proclaim themselves as the new kings of Galar as apparently they're descendants of the first kings. They then take the sword and shield. Sordward then calls Hop a pleb before challenging us to a battle. Leeks duels with the opposing Sirfetch'd with a critical leaf blade as the other one dances. She wins the duel with another crit. Leeks then somehow chops the Doublade's throat as it too dances. The swords then go down with another chop. Spinch avoids the Golisopod's first impression, then shocks it out with a thunderbolt. Leeks hops back into battle against a Bisharp. The Bisharp makes her flinch with his iron head, making the duck go fast enough to break his bricks in the next turn, scoring us a win and the rusty sword. Though it turns out Hop didn't do so well with his battle.

It also seems like they recognize me from the Darkest Day and tried to place the blame onto me for destroying the mural. It also seems that Sonia wants to meet up at her lab. However, we'll leave that for next time.
