Colette Brunel is the seventh successive "chosen one", destined to ascend the Tower of Salvation as an angel and save the dying world, Sylvarant. She's a lovable and dorky klutz, always falling over and accidentally setting off traps and the like. Her theme is fast and cheerful, as she always has a smile on her face.

The sad version of her theme plays when certain things are revealed about her, that she hid from the rest of the group so that they wouldn't worry about her. For example, she was the only one who knew that her quest as the chosen one would cause her to lose her ability to sleep, eat, speak, or even to feel anything; ultimately, she loses her heart and memories, and is to die in order to become a vessel. Throughout all this, her biggest worry is what the others would think if they found out. The song is slower and softer, and reminds me alot of a sad smile.
