Fast, but not very Furious.

Cool rocket launcher that gets too much hate.

To review the stats, the Liberty Launcher has 40% more projectile speed and a 25% expanded clip ( 5 rockets instead of 4 ). It also does 25% less blast damage to you, leading into the downside of it doing -25% damage in general.

The Liberal Lunatic is well known for firing Nerf darts instead of rockets. While people really over-exaggerate the damage pently, it is definitly noticeable. For example, the stock rocket launcher does 50 to 90 damage at medium range, so we will go with about 70 damage per rocket.The Liberty Launcher does 38-67 damage at medium range, so about 53 damage per rocket. So the stock takes two rockets to kill light classes, while the Liberty Launcher takes three. This will continue for most other classes. A medic will die from 3 shots from the liberty launcher (159) or the stock (210). Demos and fellow soldiers will also die in 3 shots from the stock, but will need 4 shots from the Liberty Luncheon. Its definitly the worst for heavies though. As they need fucking shots to die from the Liberty Loser.

Now, that must look pretty bad. Needed an extra rocket to kill every class aside from medics. But something most people don't consider, is the projectile speed. With that 40% extra speed, you may deal less damage, but you deal it quicker. The Liberty Lunchable's rockets travel at 1540 Hammer Units per second, while the Stock's rockets travel at 1100 Hammer Units per second. As a reference, 1 Hammer unit is about 2 centimeters or 1/16 of a foot.

On top of that, you also have an extra rocket to help you get past those damage thresholds. It may also help you get use to that faster projectile speed, since it might be missing more shots than normal if you don't use the Liberty Launcher very much.

Oh, and it also has 25% less self-damage. It usually does around 20-35 while the stock should do about 27-46. Might be a little more if your shit at rocket jumping. Not much to say on this one, aside from clarifying that self-damage reductions and damage reductions don't stack, they are different stats.

Lastly, how it functions with its set. The other two weapons in its set are the Reserve Shooter and the fonny meme spoon. In general, the set is very ineffective. Mostly because of the Reserve Shooter. While its great on pyro, its really bad on soldier. Getting people into the air is a hastle, and if you do, why not keep firing with your rocket launcher? If they are in the air, they are probably already low on health, and if your in a position that you would even consider using your shooty, you would do point blank damage with your rocket (84 damage). And that spoon is just...

TL;DR: The Projectile speed makes up for the damage penelty, and it has a few other nice bells and whistles to it.
