MvM Engi Tips?

So... i'll be going on an MvM squad soon and i'm going to be te engineer. I'll use Rescue Ranger, Wrangler and the normal Wrench.

I know some of the position i have to go on the maps, but i would accept some help on that as well.
And the upgrades? What are your suggestions?
