Ah yes, a brand new adventure indeed! Of course you should probably read the Google doc because I'm going straight in here.

What a lovely opening cutscene with a hilarious Cufant. Wait a minute, Rose is not even in the center of the stadium. Oh hey, it's the Undefeated Champion of Galar, Champion Leon and that one Raihan guy. Cool. It also appears that Hop has barged right in to our home to announce that Leon has a present for us. We head outside to find a Wooloo trying to run away into the forest, but is stopped thanks to a gate. We make our way down to Wedgeherst to find the Undefeated Champion of Galar, Champion Leon, who needs to be picked up by us. We are finally introduced to the line up of starters to choose. Learning from my mistake in choosing the fire starter and naming it after a not so glamourous Torchic in our last Nuzlocke, I had decided to choose Grookey and named him Goku in the hopes that he won't die to something stupid.

Time for our very first battle of the run! Goku scratched the sheep, and the sheep tackled back. After taking down the sheep, Goku poked Hop's Sobble with a stick, twice. With our first win under our belt, the Undefeated Champion of Galar, Champion Leon wants us to be rivals with Hop. Hah! No thank you. Anyway, it appears that the Wooloo has defeated the fence gate and Hop insists that we should chase after it. In the Slumbering Weald we fight some squirrels and a bird, but more importantly, a very foggy dog. After that the Undefeated Champion of Galar, Champion Leon somehow manages to find us even though he's pants with directions. Well we're safe now, and we can now start catching some teammates. On Route 1, we welcome Jay Jace the Rookidee to the crew!

Back in Wedgeherst, we are introduced to Sonia and her Yamper, who then promptly gives us our Pokedex. Now we need to head to her grandmother's house on Route 2. On our way there, we add Chomper One the Chewtle to our squad. On the edge of the route, we arrive at Professor Magnolia's house and the Undefeated Champion of Galar, Champion Leon wants us to fight Hop again so that he can endorse us. *Sigh*, fine... I lead off with Jay Jace who immediately hones his claws, twice while the sheep tackles him. Jay Jace starts going on a power trip, knocking out the sheep and Sobble. However, the Sobble put Jay Jace into the red with his gun. Chomper One bites the Rookidee while it pecks at his shell. The bird tried to lower Chomper One's stats, but it couldn't handle the bite force of the turtle. After that battle we finally got our endorsement to compete in the Gym Challenge. It also appears that two wishing stars have fallen to the ground, and then the professor went and turned them into Dynamax Bands for us. Not even 3 seconds later Hop is already out the door and ready at Wedgeherst Station.

Next time we shall chase after Hop, and make our way north.
