🇱🇺 Luxembourg celebrates the Grand Duke’s Official Birthday on this day, despite the fact that no ruler of Luxembourg has ever had a birthday today (The current Grand Duke, Henri, was born on April 16th) . When this day was established in 1947 both the ruling monarch and their heirs birthday would be in January. As such, on December 23rd, 1961, the date was pushed forward to June 23rd in fear of poor weather.
