Okay, so, I'm starting a new series. I doubt you rafflers want to hear about what angers me, considering anger is such a negative emotion, so I've decided to do something positive and put the 'what ticks me off' series on the backburner for now :3

So, a bit of backstory is in order, I guess. I like weapon skins. I don't see why traders moan about their being so difficult to trade, I have no problem flipping them. However, there's one aspect of skins that I feel is criminally underutilized: custom wears. There are only three war paints out of all 4 cases with custom wears. And I feel like they can make a skin really one-of-a-kind! Now, you don't have to settle for Factory New like every single other player unless you want your skin to look like it was absolutely trashed. You could have Field Tested and not have the lower wear ruin the aesthetic. So, my plans for this series are to talk about a skin on the workshop with custom wears that I really like and a skin/war paint already in the game for each raffle.

Alrighty, since it's nearly Christmas, I feel like starting off with a snow-themed war paint would be appropriate, so here you go! - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1229128073 - Frostland Veteran by MultiH (short for MultiHawk). It looks like an old Arctic base with a special feature - the lower the wear goes, the frostier the gun gets! This would be a perfect Commando grade to go in a Winter 2019 War Paint case! And could you imagine how much a war paint with the cool effect would go for?! Alas, it is from 2017, so it's doubtful Valve would add it. To make matters more sticky, Valve has never added a skin into the game from the Workshop with custom wears. It's never happened. And, even if they did, they might pull a Spectral Shimmered and screw the implementation of the wears up. There's no telling. About the only things you can do for it if you like it are cross your fingers, pray, and upvote it on the Workshop.

I do have to admit my bias towards it, it's easily one of my favorite skins in the entire game. And it's Mercenary grade, so it's not too expensive! If you're looking for an unusual skin that's not hot garbage and won't break the bank, then Mannana Peeled is likely your best bet since it's a relatively common unbox considering its Mercenary grade status and its custom wears mean that Factory New is not the only option if you want the skin to be aesthetically pleasing. (Please note, this is all opinion. Please don't crucify me in the comments.)
