Or well, evolved
I chose Vaporeon on my first run of XD so to honor that I chose Vaporeon this time as well.

I had forgotten that it takes quite a while before you can get the shiny Pokémon, so I guess I can just enjoy the game and its story without any kind of rush for the time being.

Also, I noticed a couple of things that I missed when I played the game 10+ years ago:

Moves give you a small chart of their effectivenes which is really cool and of course useful for those of us who don't know all the types chart by memory
Trainers react to their Pokémon getting hurt I don't know why but this just makes me happy, it's like they care. And look at the old man!
