Hey remember all of those raffles I did ranking all of the Soulsborne bosses? No? Well I'm back again making one huge list from my least favorite boss to my most favorite boss. I will be looking at all of the Dark Souls games, Demon's Souls, Bloodborne, and even Sekiro. Sekiro is debatable if it really is a Souls game, but I'll count it. Before, I ranked the bosses by game in terms of difficulty. Now i'll be throwing everything about said boss into my rankings. Stuff like lore, difficulty, and their fun factor. Not stolen from Dmod. To start this list off is the only boss I refuse to go and fight, Lud and Zallen. Fuck this boss. Appearing in the Crown of the Ivory King DLC in Dark Souls 2, L&Z is one of 3 bosses in the DLC. Believe it or not, these two are just a reskin of another boss, Aava, who is also in the DLC. Meaning that 2 of the 3 bosses in this DLC are the same. Except this time, there are two of them... oooh. Gank fights are never fun, and this one is bottom of the barrel of awfulness. Aava by herself was a fine enough fight, two of them at once is a pain. They'll leap across the whole arena just to maul your ass. The second cat doesn't drop down until you wipe out half of the first one's health. So if you can kill the first cat before number 2 drops down, it won't be too terrible. I can't go without saying that the run-up to these two sucks more than the boss. This boss is located in a giant barren snowy area where a blizzard comes by every 10 seconds to block your view, turning it into Silent Hill. First time through, I got lost constantly. Doesn't help that every single time a blizzard comes through, these fucking reindeer from hell spawn in and beat your ass. They could spin you around and you'll lose track of where you went. By the time I found the boss, I was very disappointed. There's no lore to these two, the difficulty isn't fair, and the fight just isn't fun. I'd probably cut this boss some slack if there wasn't a fucking tundra before them. For now, my most hated boss in the series. Only positive I can say is the music during the fight is alright.
