TF2 weapon ideas: Ninja Star (Scout throwable)
Disclaimer:
If I knew how to create custom weapons like Karma Charger or the actual custom weapons game mode, I would absolutely make this. As for now, we can only imagine how this weapon would actually play out in-game.

Stats (compared to the Flying Guillotine):
Throw at your enemies to make them bleed! Long distance hits reduce recharge time
You have 6 Ninja Stars, each with a 5 second recharge
100% critical hits vs. bleeding players
On kill: instantly recharge 2 Ninja Stars
60% damage penalty
Bleed duration reduced by 60%
Additional notes:
• The idea is a deadly self-comboing weapon. The first star will deal 20 damage, and if you're quick enough, you can bring a barrage of 60 damage stars. A bleed time of only 2 seconds encourages quick attacks rather than hesitating.
• With a total of 30 seconds to recharge all six stars, I think a way to more quickly recharge them is in order. It would take three stars to kill a light class at full health, and getting 2 back should make it easier to continue a chain.
• Someone could totally get good enough with this to terrorize an entire server, so maybe the damage penalty isn't harsh enough and/or less stars need to recharge on kill.
The Flying Guillotine is already a super fun and rewarding weapon to use, but what if it were even more intense? Would it be overpowered, underpowered, or balanced just right? Would it be fun to use and to fight against? Vote in the poll and comment your thoughts.
