Last summer, I decided to undergo the legendary "Scrap to Unusual" challenge in the name of fun and (minor) profit. After around 3 weeks and 350 trades made, I completed the challenge by trading for a Dead Presidents Bazaar Bauble, which remains in my inventory to this day.

However, I still wasn't completely satisfied.

My initial idea had been to document the process of the challenge by screenshotting every trade I made, splicing them together into a montage, and uploading the finished product to YouTube. By the time that I had completed the actual scrap to unusual challenge itself, though, I found myself without motivation to do any video editing. Therefore, my achievement remained mostly undocumented despite my desire to flex my "trading skills" (AKA willingness to subject myself to mental torture) to the world. 

This summer, I will redeem myself. I will trade up from one scrap metal to an unusual hat for the second time, live documented for all to see through a daily (?) raffle series. Not only that: if and when I achieve the goal of acquiring an unusual, I will give it away to the scrap.tf community in a raffle.*

*Actually, I might not give away that exact unusual, since I kind of want to keep it as a souvenir. I will give away an unusual hat of some kind, however.
