Stay a while and read a bit 
Last week my pc broke and Impatient as i was i wanted to sell my unusual through auction and i was caught off guard and got scam with a bunch of shitty strange skin (This was my personal fault )
But in that week while desperately tried to get rid of them i saw many other auction got sniped by just A shit ton of crap skin

He got his 9 keys strange unusual turned into a 9 keys skin and turned into 4 keys value of  BS civic duty skins
The main reasons i think for the problem are
1 tf2.outpost closed and baazar.tf is about to 
2 How the system works is that  lowtier  warpaint is cheaper than skin itself you the person can buy a bunch of them and use on weapon for higher value
