Picture it.

You're just relaxing on your couch. It's about 2 AM, you aren't tired, so you decided to watch some TV just to see what's on. It's raining calmly outside. You can hear it pattering against the window. No thunder or anything, just some nice rain.

Suddenly, the audio for the show you're watching cuts out.

A loud beeping noise begins playing, followed be a long droning boooooo noise. Then, that cuts out too. An almost robotic male voice begins speaking to you, telling you of all the counties in your area that are currently under emergency weather watch. The person speaking is using a microphone that makes them sound somewhat muffled, but you can still completely understand him. Then, they stop speaking. The beeping begins to play again, but this time, it sounds a bit faster. And then, it cuts out, and the audio for the show you were watching turns back on.

I hate it so much. I don't know why, but it's one of the scariest things to me. I know the beeps are meant to be some kind of signal thing, I just hate it so god damn much.
