Roamer Soldier

I am kinda interested in this Roaming Soldier playstyle. Any tips? I'm not playing any SERIOUS competitive, just Valve comp and some beginner community comps. I just like the idea of going crazy and flying around, however, I have noticed that I tend to be scared in casual and tend to call out of Medic a ton, so I got a lot to improve.
