You all knew that this fucking bastard had to appear somewhere in this series. Sonic 06 is well known by now to be one of the worst games of all time. I personally hate this game. There are some good things about it, but it's not enough to bring it out of hell. One of the worst aspects of the game are the bosses. I was tempted to put Iblis 2 on here because it takes like 2 minutes to get a hit on him, but Silver is more poorly designed.

You fight Silver in both Sonic and Shadow's story line. What makes this fight unbearable is Silver's telekinetic grab. Don't even try running for the ring in front of you at the start of the fight because he'll just grab you and kill you. Even when you do get rings you're still fucked. Unless you're far away enough, Silver can just pick you up again during your post-hit invincibility and kill you. You can sometimes softlock the fight if you're unlucky enough to get lodged into a corner and your ring keeps coming back to you. It's just no use. Just run around the arena a bunch until you hear Silver say "How about this?". He'll be holding some random crap during that and you can get a nice homing attack on him. Make sure you do 1 homing attack on him and get the hell out of there. Doing it twice kills you because he'll just chuck you straight up in the air with no escape. To wrap this up, the camera doesn't lock onto Silver during the fight. I at least want to see this psychic fuck when I fight him so I don't get absolutely destroyed fighting this dumbass. 

Shadow's version is largely the same, but you're better off doing the slide kick rather than the homing attack. Shadow is much slower than Sonic along with his homing attack cuz it has the button mash combo thing. So it's pretty much a death sentence if you do a homing attack. The arena is much bigger which helps a tad bit, but this fight is still atrocious.
