One of the most debated things in TF2 is always going to be random crits, yay or nay. For me, the answer is I simply don't care. I've played on servers with it enabled or disabled and arguments made for either just don't matter to me. I play games with RNG and I play games that don't have it. I'm used to either and I won't be bothered.

There is, however, one thing in this game that still bothers me ever since the first day I've played: Dominations and Revenges. 

What you (may) think my reason for disliking them: "I hate being dominated by someone better than me and not getting a chance for revenge because the match has ended or they will leave before the match ends. Or I hate losing my dominations that I got against newbs."

My reason for disliking them: Unless I choose to modify the sound files themselves via Audacity (which technically can be undone via updates/verifying game cache), or add a custom mod to do so, the sound of hearing two dominations/revenges going off at the same time is the most horrible sound in TF2. It doesn't matter how low my earphone volume is, or the fact the music volume is actually put low, and even sound effect volume is pretty low: Two dominations/revenges going off will always be full volume and it's PAINFUL.

I just don't get why Dominations/Revenges are one of few things in TF2 that aren't affected by the volume sliders. The Casual endgame music can't be adjusted either, so really, my complaint is about how the audio options aren't really up-to-date.

What about you, ScrapTF user? What's your reason for liking/disliking dominations and revenges? Is it the same as me? Have you found a workaround for lowering the volume?
