The biggest sample size always helps, so I'd suggest answering it
Anyway, viewmodels! We know them, we love them (except when we don't, and feel the need to stretch viewmodel_fov to another dimension and see nothing but the insides of our mercs' arms). Ever since the Meet Your Match update allowed everyone to enable a minimized version of the viewmodels, they are something that's become a bit of a topic of discussion in certain circles. The in-game settings allow you to move a slider between numbers 54 and 70, the value of how far away your weapon will be from your screen (essentially). However, thanks to the console command viewmodel_fov, you can allow for a value beyond what the options screen normally allows.
Personally, I play with my viewmodel FOV at 75, un-minimized. I get that it may not be competitively suitable or whatever, but I guess... I'm just used to it. Especially for the rocket launchers. Like, their position on the right side of the screen has always been like, a visual aid for angles and stuff when rocket jumping, so yeah.Plus, they all just look like discount Originals lol
Franky I just don't want to constantly see the textureless insides of my arms lol
