Research defense rejoicing!
Rejoice! The research defense was not as bad as it could've actually gone! 
In the hours leading up to our turn to defend, absolutely no-one wanted to review the damn paper
Despite the underpreparation, the defense itself was a lot less stressful than I would have thought because two of the three panelists didn't show up which made our lives so so much easier. It was actually the best case scenario with us not get mauled in the conference room lmao
